Reviewed Oct 31, 2026: Fake

Verdict: FAKE. “My Fame In” cannot give you real Instagram followers for free, and there is no legitimate way to gain followers through such a site. Instagram’s policies prohibit automated follower generation; so-called “free” followers are typically bots or fake accounts that damage your engagement and credibility. Sites like this harvest handles and redirect users to ad-heavy pages. This article describes the claim only to warn — it does not instruct readers to use the site, and it does not present any follower gain as delivered.

Checked Oct 31, 2026: the site is now identified as myfame.in (myfamein.com is DNS-dead and does not resolve). It is live — but the free-followers claim is gone. It now operates as a paid Instagram growth service (“Pick a package: Instagram likes, followers, or views”) with a “Start free trial” button. In other words, the exact promise the viral videos promoted no longer even exists on the site. The February 2025 viral framing is dead, and nothing about “2025” in the old title is current anymore.

What We Found (Reviewed Oct 31, 2026)

A viral trend suggested “My Fame In” offers free Instagram followers instantly, and asked whether it was a game-changer or a trap. The original analysis found it a trap: there is no legitimate way to gain followers this way. Instagram prohibits automated follower generation, “free” followers are typically bots or fake accounts that damage engagement and credibility, and such sites harvest handles and redirect users to ad-heavy pages. That finding stands.

The Claim, Described Only to Warn

The following is described only so readers recognize and avoid the trap, not as instructions. The viral videos claimed visitors would type an Instagram username, press a “Get Followers” button, and watch followers increase. In practice, users reported no follower increase, bot accounts that disappeared within days, and redirects to spammy or advertisement-heavy websites. Nothing in this flow is presented as a working method — do not follow it.

What Changed on the Oct 31, 2026 Re-check

• The site is identified as myfame.in; myfamein.com is DNS-dead and does not resolve.
• It is live, but the free-followers claim has changed: it is now a paid Instagram growth service (“Pick a package: Instagram likes, followers, or views”) with a “Start free trial” button.
• The free-followers offer the viral trend promised is gone. Any page still repeating the old promise is describing a service that no longer exists.
• The February 2025 viral framing is dead — do not treat the hype as current.

Why It Cannot Work

• Instagram prohibits automated follower generation. Any account involved risks suspension or a permanent ban.
• “Free” followers are bots or fake accounts. They bring no real engagement (likes, comments, shares) and can suddenly disappear.
• Fake followers harm your account. Low engagement and reduced reach follow, and Instagram’s cleanup systems remove fake followers.
• The business model is extraction, not delivery. Such sites harvest handles and redirect users to ad-heavy pages.

Safety Rules

• Never enter your Instagram password, OTP, or login details on a followers site.
• Never enter someone else’s handle expecting followers to appear on it.
• If you already entered your credentials, change your password immediately, enable two-factor authentication, and revoke unfamiliar apps and sessions in your Instagram settings.
• Report suspicious followers sites rather than sharing the viral videos further.
